Itinerary

The name 'Spiti' means 'The Middle Land'. Day – 1: Arrival in Delhi and Overnight travel Shimla

  • Reach Kashmiri gate in Delhi. Meet out representative and catch the Volvo bus for overnight journey to Shimla. Time – 10 PM 

Day – 2: Shimla to Narkanda

  • Today arrive in Shimla, you will be picked from Volvo stand, have after breakfast, you will proceed towards Narkanda in the Kinnaur valley.
  • You will then be travelling through the rich forests of Deodar, breath-taking views of the valley, snow-covered mountain peaks and fast-flowing rivers.
  • Once you reach Narkanda you will check in to the hotel and take some rest.
  • Later in the evening, explore the small village of Narkanda with its slate-roofed houses that compose pictures of pastoral perfection and is surrounded by fields and orchards.
  • Overnight stay in Narkanda.

Day – 3: Narkanda to Sangla - Chitkul

  • Wake up early in the morning to experience one of the most beautiful sunrises.
  • After a delicious breakfast, you will leave for one of the most beautiful views of Kinnaur Valley.
  • Travel along the Sutlej river till Karcham from where you will take a right turn towards Sangla following the Baspa river.
  • Home to a large number of Buddhists, Sangla, with its red apple orchards and luscious cherry trees, is bounded by strapping mountain slopes and sprawling forests.
  • Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Chitkul.

Day – 3 Sangla to Tabo

  • After breakfast start your ride towards beautiful & thrilling ride to Tabo via Nako lake and Gue Monestry.
  • En route, you will be taking the Indo-Tiber Highway and pass through the Khab bridge that marks the confluence of Spiti and the Satluj River.
  • Take a short stopover at Nako Lake and have lunch, after which you will be entering the Spiti Valley right as soon as you cross Sumdo.
  • Just 3 Km after Sumdo, take a detour on the right through the gate to visit the 500- Year-Old Mummy in the Gue Village.
  • You will then proceed towards Tabo where you will be spending the night at a hotel.

Day – 4 Tabo to Kaza

  • After a delicious breakfast, you will proceed towards Kaza.
  • On the way take a small detour towards the right to visit the tiny hamlet of Dhankar, perched high above the confluence of the Spiti and Pin River.
  • If time permits, do take an hour’s climb above the village to visit the stunning turquoise Dhankar Tso or Dhankar Lake to enjoy stunning views of the valley.
  • You will then start your drive towards the beautiful Pin Valley.
  • Imagine a national park with an abundance of animals and birds, with some rare plant varieties, a river that gushes when it isn’t frozen and trekking opportunities for the adventure-seekers. The Pin Valley promises all this and more.
  • You will be first visiting the Kungri Monastery and then the beautiful hamlet of Mudh, which is the last motorable village of the Pin Valley.
  • Declared a national park in 1987, Pin Valley is home to at least 12 endangered snow leopards in addition to other animals indigenous to the region like the Siberian ibex, bharal, weasel, red fox, and marten.
  • Birds such as the pika, griffon, golden eagle, bearded vulture, Chukor and Raven will be painting the skies with a pretty picture as you drive through the beautiful Pin Valley.
  • You will drive to Kaza in the evening to spend the night at the hotel.

Day – 5: Kaza local Sightseeing

  • After a delicious breakfast, you will drive to some of the highest inhabited regions of the world.
  • First, you will be visiting the highest village in Asia, Komik, which literally translates to ‘eye of a snow cock’.
  • You will then proceed to Hikkim for a visit to the world’s highest post office in the world and if possible, you may even meet the postmaster and hear his stories. 
  • After sending out a postcard, you will be driving to Langza, a village that is home to the ancient Lang Temple which is estimated to be around 1000 years old.
  • You will then be proceeding towards the world-famous Ki Monastery nestled between the mountains in a bowl-shaped valley of the small village Langza in Spiti valley.
  • After absorbing the beauty of this ancient marvel, you’ll further visit the high villages of Kibber and Chicham.
  • Pass through the Chicham Bridge, the highest bridge in Asia, that offers aweinspiring visuals of the valley below.
  • Later in the evening, you will drive back to Kaza to spend the night at the hotel.

Day – 6: Kaza to Chandratal lake

  • After breakfast, proceed to Chandratal, the Hidden Blue Jewel of the Himalayan Mountains that literally translates to Moon Lake.
  • The mystical and beautiful Chandratal Lake, with a striking backdrop of Chandra Bhaga mountain range, keeps changing its appearance throughout the day.
  • You can take a stroll around capturing the colours of the beautiful Chandratal Lake, and then you will drive down to your campsite.
  • You can enjoy a hot supper under the gaze of a million stars as you relax at the campsite after a wonderful day.
  • Overnight stay at the camps near Chandratal Lake.

Day – 7 Chandratal to Manali (132 km 9-10 Hours) off Road…

  • With the visuals of the stunning Chandratal Lake captured in the minds and cameras, you will continue tracing your steps back towards Manali.
  • You will pass through the newly built Atal Tunnel to reach Manali where you can choose to explore the markets shopping for souvenirs.
  • Overnight Stay in Manali. Day – 08: Manali Exploring and Back to Delhi
  • After breakfast in the hotel, prepare yourself for the ultimate experience in Manali
  • You will visit the Tibetan Monastery which is not only a place of worship but also a Tibetan Culture Centre.
  • Also visit Jagatsukh, a small village that houses old Shikara-style temples and Vashisht Kund which is a famous hot water sulphur spring.
  • Then proceed to the Hadimba Devi Temple which is an ancient temple (around 450 years old) that is dedicated to Hadimba Devi, wife of one of the Pandava brothers Bhim.
  • In the evening drop to Manali volvo stand and transfer to Delhi.

Cancellation Policy

  • Minimum cancellation is 10% or INR 3000 whichever maximum per person per tour.
  • 25% between 45-30 days before tour departure.
  • 50% between 30-15 days before tour departure.
  • 75% between 15-05 days before tour departure 100% on the same day & no show & 05 days remaining.
  • *Incase, tour is cancelled due to any kind of lockdown restrictions your paid amount shall be carry forwarded to any of our future trek or tour* 

Payment Policy

  • 1st instalment - 30% at the time of booking the seat.
  • 2nd instalment - 30 days prior to tour 40% payment.
  • 3rd instalment - 29 - 15 days prior to tour 20% payment.
  • Final instalment - 15 days prior to tour 10% payment. 



Rules & Regulations

If this trek/tour is cancelled due to Covid Lockdown or natural calamity

  • In case the tour gets cancelled because of local lockdown or natural phenomena or any other reason beyond our control, we shall arrange for alternative treks or tour to a different place. In case, due to Government lockdown restrictions we are unable to continue with any of the plan, your only tour amount will be refunded and travel amount will be refunded as the travel operator standard refund process. If the participant is unwilling to go for the alternative tour/trek, there would be no refund or voucher issued as for this tour. All the services have to be arranged beforehand and cannot be shifted to any other date.
  • No show and tour changes/cancellation due to bad weather or natural calamity will be nonrefundable.No money shall be refunded in case a person is rescued and brought back to the base camp before the said date.
  • If the travellers need to return before the trip ends, they shall have to bear all the expenses for accommodation and meals at respective or any other place. The services on the tour are arranged for even if they go unused.

In Case of Injury / Casualty

  • If any traveller feels unwell and has to be brought back to the base camp, all the charges, including the rescue fees, medication, Ambulance / Transport, accommodation apart from the scheduled itinerary, Meals or any other medical or Miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the traveller.
  • P.S. We are only liable to offer the services mentioned as per the itinerary and inclusions

Unused Services

  • We shall not offer or pay any discounts or refunds for missed or unused services which were missed or unused by the client due to no fault of ours, or our representatives, which shall include any termination of the client’s participation in the tour product due to the client’s own fault, negligence or breach of these terms.

Important Notes

  • Any extra transfers required during the tour will be charged extra.
  • For room sharing, in case you have opted for double sharing and we don't have any partner to share, your accommodation will be done in triple sharing 
  • Anything that is explicitly not mentioned in the inclusions and optional as suggested in the itinerary, are not a part of this package.
  • Images shown about the place, city, hotel, attractions, etc. are for illustration purpose only and may not be the same as linked to the itinerary or services provided.
  • Cost and consequences arising due to any force major situations including but not limited to unforeseen circumstances like; natural calamities, political disturbances, health issues, flight delays / Cancellations, things beyond our control, etc. will have to be borne by the guest.
  • Airport transfers and coach tours are based on all guest traveling together in same flight, any additional transfers will not be provided if guest travel on different airlines.
  • There will be additional charges for the passengers would like to stay back at the destination or transit.
  • If you are carrying gifts, brochures, standees, placards, t-shirts, stationery, backdrops, laptops, projector, snacks or any such items for distribution purpose, then it is sole discretion of customs authority or regulations.
  • Duties or gratuities, if any will be payable by the guest/corporate only.
  • Allowing excess luggage is subject to the airline approval, if any such charges will be payable by guest/corporate only.
  • Any changes in itinerary or upgrade in hotel /s will be charged extra, over and above the given cost (which will be informed to the customer in advance for final acceptance and payment.
